2010 Ticket Prices Lower than in Recent Years
Glimmerglass Opera’s 2010 Festival ticket prices are lower than ticket prices in recent years. In 2009, ticket prices started at $58. This year, a ticket costs as little as $26, and an opera-goer can attend all four productions for as little as $72.
“This new pricing structure that debuted in July is designed to attract new audience members who might not have been able to afford a $58 ticket,” said Frank Impelluso, Associate Director of Marketing. “We’ve restructured our pricing to benefit our patrons. Opera should be experienced by as many people as possible, and Glimmerglass is doing its part to make this happen.”
Those people who subscribed to the 2010 Festival before August 31, 2009, received additional savings on the lowered ticket prices.
