The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo:	Before the show this afternoon, I spotted these boys practicing somesoccer moves in front of the theater. This is not an uncommon sight, with many picnickers bringing activities to enjoy the Festival groundsand the lovely summer weather. You can see some patrons gathering infront of the theater to browse our gift shop and pick up some snacks atthe concession stand.William Brown The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo:	Last weekend's Showtalk in the Thaw Pavilion was centered on Medea. The first half had Gregory Nagy, the director of the Harvard Center for Hellenistic Studies, who spoke about the play by Euripides that was the source of the opera's story. Jake Gardner and Felicia Blum acted out excerpts from the play to aid in Gregory's explanations. The second half was Musicologist Peter Bloom (not shown) explaining the differences between the French and Italian versions of the opera.William Brown The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo:	This summer, new signs were made in the festival colors to help people navigate the campus. Most have nowhere near the number of signs that there are on this post, which is near the Thaw Pavilion. Hopefully these will help people get around our beautiful campus!William Brown The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo:	I took this photo of the Alice Busch Opera Theater a few weeks ago during the intermission of Annie Get Your Gun. I enjoy how you can see people enjoying the festival grounds on the lovely summer day, such as the two women strolling along the path, the family relaxing by the pond and the people enjoying the view of the mountain from the balcony. The trees on the sides of the photo frame the shot as well as give you hint of what the festival is like beyond the frame of the photo. I also like how you can see the open walls of the theater, which I think is one of the coolest aspects of it. William Brown
