The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: On Wednesday, we had on and off rain through out the day, but it seemed to break right before we had to head to the softball game. I walked out of the Malton Place Residence and spotted the rainbow in the sky. I then booked it over to the theater, where I knew exactly where I needed to be. I do wish it were a full rainbow, but I do like how it leads your eye to the flags and the theater.William Brown The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: The Glimmerglass Festival posted a photo: A few weeks ago, I was by the front of the theater before the show, and I saw these two little ones sitting by the fire pond. While taking the picture, I realized that this is what this season is all about, bringing in new audiences and exposing new people to the joy of the Glimmerglass experience. They select some of their favorite pieces of opera and musical theater to present the audience. This one took place in the Thaw Pavilion; you can see the paper globe covering the light over the stage.William Brown
