Given the intimate size of the Alice Busch Opera Theater, our ticket income pays only one-third of our production costs. Therefore, tax-deductible contributions to the Glimmerglass Opera Annual Fund are vital to our present and future stability. The accomplishments of Glimmerglass have been possible only through the generosity of donors who share our commitment to young American artists, to the development of new audiences for opera, and to the production of musical theater in ensemble performances with attention to dramatic effect and a contemporary visual sensibility. The Glimmerglass Camerata is an inner circle of the company's most valued and influential friends, and it enjoys close ties with the company's Board, staff and artists through a series of intimate and exclusive previews of the Opera's festival productions.

The Goodyear Society exists to recognize those friends of the company who have made a provision to benefit the opera in their wills and estate plans or who have made a life income arrangement with Glimmerglass as beneficiary.
